After conducting user testing, I identified three main issues that users had with the badminton bag: 1. the zipper and bag durability, 2. the lack of a designated spot for the birdy tube, and 3. awkward carrying positions. To address these issues, I made several improvements.
To test out the best location for the tube holder in the Birdy Buddy badminton bag, a prototype has been created with velcro attachments. This allows for easy adjustment and movement of the tube holder to different locations within the bag. Users can try out different locations and test the functionality and accessibility of each option. This will help to determine the optimal location for the tube holder in the final design.
Firstly, I removed the zipper and added a magnetic opening at the back for improved durability. Secondly, I incorporated a stretchy fabric to make it easier to put in and take out rackets. Thirdly, I added a tube holder and determined the best location for it. Finally, I added side handles and double straps so the bag can be worn like a backpack for added convenience. With these improvements, the badminton bag is now more durable, functional, and comfortable for users.
